About Me

About Me
I am an evaluator and researcher with over 10 years of experience. My passion is using data collection and analysis to help people through actionable insights; I strongly believe that the key to any evaluation is not only what the outcomes are, but also the why behind them.  I have a deep, personal commitment to conducting research that helps organizations better meet the needs of the people they serve.

I have done work in a broad range of fields including religious diversity/tolerance, gender roles, psychological sense of community, leadership, youth literacy, and family wellbeing.  Currently, I am a Senior Evaluation Associate for the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University, where I work with a variety of military serving non-profits on evaluation, strategic planning, theory of change development, and capacity building. Before that, I worked as a Research Associate at Aperio Insights, where I conducted evaluations of programs, products, and services for a wide range of clients.

Outside of my time with the IVMF, I work with Our Military Kids to lead their evaluation efforts. Additionally, I am heavily involved in the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology (NAPA), where I co-chair the Professional Development and Programming Committee.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology with a music minor from Utah State University, and received my master’s degree in Applied Anthropology with a Geographic Information Systems Graduate Certificate from the University of North Texas.
